What age of child do you work with?
I help babies, toddlers, and children from birth to the age of six. children from birth to age 6. So if you’re having bedtime struggles with your young ones, I’m on hand to help.
How long will it take for my child to learn to sleep through the night?
Every child is different and it’s important that you keep this in mind going into our consultations. The length of time it takes for your child to learn this particular skill will depend on their age, your consistency with implementing the plan I have created for you, and your child’s personality.
In my experience, many clients have seen results after just two nights of adhering to their sleep plan. However, other families have only seen progress after a week. Typically, I aim to make significant changes within two weeks.
How long will it take for my child to learn to sleep through the night?
As a certified child sleep consultant and behavior therapist, I understand that there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. As such, I tend to explore a range of methods and approaches depending on what works best for your situation. This is something we can cover in detail during our sleep consultation.
What does baby sleep coaching support look like?
Phone calls, emails, and text messages tend to be the primary ways in which I offer my child sleep consultant services in Connecticut. Most of the support happens in the first week as I guide you through your personalized sleep plan.
In week one, we’ll focus on the changes that need to be made to the bedtime routine, nap routine and how to tackle overnight wakings, and in week two, we’ll work on sticking to a sleep schedule and cementing sleep training approaches.
How will I know if child sleep coaching is the next step?
Often your child will give you clues that they are ready to sleep train. Crying through the night, taking short naps, or any attempt to usurp your sleep plans are usually the biggest indicators.
If you’ve already tried multiple methods and nothing seems to work, baby sleep consulting is probably your next step. And if you’re not sure, our initial call is completely free, so you’re not locked into anything.
How long will it take to get started?
After our initial sleep discovery call, you can select a date for your hour-long sleep consultation. My usual turnaround is between two and four days, so you can start getting the help you need within a week.
